About the UcanACT MOOC
Welcome to the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for physiotherapists designed by the UcanACT consortium, with the aim of providing additional education and awareness in regards of exercising with adults and senior citizens over the age of 50 who never have suffered from cancer diseases (primary prevention), who were diagnosed with cancer (secondary prevention) or who are cancer survivors (tertiary prevention). This course will provide evidence-based guidelines, recommendations and key considerations for carrying out exercise sessions with the mentioned target group and will improve the understanding of its needs in regards to implementing the training, exercise selection with progression, which also can be found in the UcanACT App and other important information with regards to safety measures.
